ARTICLE I — PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE: The Gates Foundation hereby grants the financial commitment specified herein to HopeRise Global Development Initiatives Inc. for the exclusive engineering, installation, and community operational governance of 42 deep-aquifer solar-powered borehole well installations across arid districts of Eastern Sub-Saharan Africa.

ARTICLE VII — AUDIT & FINANCIAL INTEGRITY: The Recipient covenants that all procurement for solar water pumps, submersible components, and drilling contracts shall strictly conform to international competitive transparent tender guidelines, subject to random field verification by Foundation designated compliance officers.
